An ochoko (お猪口), sometimes just called a choko”, is a sake cup. The name’s roots come from a word meaning ?are teh unpretentious or small thing, hence the usual simple designs.

Ochoko are almost always small, with a capacity of around 20-90ml (⅔to 3oz), and often look about the same size as a shot glass.

The clay used for this collection is a porcelain ware clay and the colours that create its unique personality vary depending on the light of the space. It has a matte surface and is raw and unglazed giving it a natural finish.

With its individual and slightly curved silhouette, each piece is distinctly unique, a truly one-of-a-kind piece. All ceramic art pieces of the collection are created as stand-alone art or are encouraged to be combined together with other pieces of the collection.
